You know the theory, but nothing is changing in your life?

You burn out or have a breakdown, then you read all the books, you follow all the Instagram pages, you know the theory inside out. You start talking about attachment styles, childhood traumas, inner child, ego etc. But nothing is really changing in your life.

Why?

Because you are not integrating, but you are intellectualising your experiences.

You find explanations for your behaviour and that is great but also not great. Hear me out.

Awareness. It is very important to be self-aware, to know the root causes of why we are the way we are. Why we behave a certain way. But awareness if only half of the journey. You need to take it one step further: Integrate.

Integration.  Once you are self-aware, it’s all about what you do with this self-awareness. Do you just sit with it, or do you take different actions and start breaking patterns?

It is not easy, but integration is the only way to move forward and actually change something in life.

But here is the trick: now that you are self-aware and you know what you have to do, you discover that you also have a lot of limiting beliefs that stop you from actually integrating and implementing.

For example, in my case, I did a lot of healing work, inner child work, trauma work to be able to become more self-aware. Then slowly I realised I wanted a different lifestyle for myself, one that was not driven by the survival mode, but one driven by abundance, openness and joy of living.

But before I made the jump, all these fears and limiting beliefs started popping up: but what will I do next? I don’t have other skills than being a lawyer, I trained as a lawyer, I can’t do something else. How will I pay my mortgage, how will I make money? I can’t do this. And the list goes on.

So I had to work on digging up all my limiting beliefs and dismantle them one by one, until I was ready to actually jump. It was not an overnight free fall jump, it was a slow process of healing, deconstructing my identity and rebuilding myself like a phoenix from the ashes.

It was slow, methodical, and at times very painful. It required commitment and resilience.

The process if not one for the faint of heart, but it is most certainly one of the most amazing achievements of my life.

To live an authentic life and to learn to believe in myself and to actually make it happen.

You hear many people talking all about love and light, good vibes only etc. Well let me tell you, this could not be further from the truth. To be able to hold such positive vibes we need to be able to face our demons, otherwise we live in denial.

A life of love and light is built on healing work, mindset work, deep transformation. And when was transformation every easy?  Just thing about it, we are being reborn. When a baby is born the mother suffers, when a chicken is born the egg breaks…It is the cycle of life.

This is not to put you off the journey, but this is to give you a realistic vision of the path ahead. I say this because many people come to me just for love and light and then they discover demons within themselves.

My job is to support people to face their demons, break patterns and walk towards a more aligned and sustainable life. But that requires a deep wanting to do whatever it takes to get there.

It requires commitment, self-responsibility and perseverance. And trust me, once you get there, you will wonder how on Earth you lived the way you lived so far.

The transformation is so incredible that you will inevitably fall in love with life (again). At least that was my experience.

So if you are an impasse, you read the books, gone to therapy, tried all the random healing methods, but still feel stuck and want a change in life, get in touch and let’s make it happen.

If I managed to do it, so will you!
